Live Streaming of Morning Prayer & Night Prayer takes place on the Stroudwater Team facebook page at 0900 and 2100 on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. We will be taking a pause over the summer so the last live daily prayer will be 23rd July and we will resume on 8th September.

August Eco- Tip from A Rocha
Looking after wildlife in the heat. Times of drought and dryness can be dangerous for wildlife. Provide water for birds and insects – put a dish of water out to help wildlife stay hydrated. Insects, small mammals, birds, and even badgers, foxes, and deer could benefit. A stone in a plant saucer helps bees to perch and drink without drowning. These small actions make a big difference and are just some of the ways we can live out our calling to care for God’s creation. See our blog on looking after wildlife in the heat for more warm weather eco tips: arocha.org.uk/looking-afterwildlife-in-the-heat/

Bishop’s Mission Weekend 9th – 11th October
In October a group of curates from across the diocese along with Bishop Robert will be helping us lead a mission weekend here in Stroudwater. There has been an initial meeting and the proposed theme of the weekend is sharing out stories – it is hoped to host events for our local communities to explore stories of faith in gentle accessible ways, round a fire toasting marshmallows, walking in the local area, through creative arts, and music. We will need people from our local worshipping communities to be part of planning and delivering the weekend in a variety of roles, so if you are interested please contact a member of clergy.
The draft outline programme is here
Please keep these dates clear if you are planning other events in your parish
