2026 Photo Competition

The 2026 Photography Competition will be open for entries from 1st April until 30th June. This year’s title is “Frampton’s Buildings and Trees” and the best entries will be the basis for the 2027 Frampton on Severn Calendar. Funds raised through this event will contribute to “Adapting our Church for the Future” which is described in more detail under a separate news item.

Please send up to 10 seasonal photographs per person, of trees and / or buildings in Frampton on Severn. The best entries will be photographs that capture the beauty of Frampton on Severn in a specific season. Last year’s winning entry (below) would have been an excellent candidate.

Competition Rules

Photos submitted: 1^st April to 30^th June 2026.

Taken within the parish of Frampton on Severn.

Featuring a building and/or tree, particularly those which epitomise a seasonal spirit of Frampton.

Landscape format only.

Photos that have previously featured in the Frampton calendar will not be accepted.

The competition is open to anyone, irrespective of where they live.

A maximum of 10 photos per person.

Photos must be accompanied with the following info:

–        Location or name of the photo subject;

–        The month when the photo was taken;

–        Name + phone / email of photographer;

–        Confirmation of how payment was made.

Photos will be judged on:

–        Artistic merit / composition;

–        Photographic merit;

–        Quality of Photograph as an entry for the calendar.

Judges will select the top 36 photos which will be exhibited towards the end of July. Judges’ decisions are final.
