Stroudwater Breakfast Programme

Stroudwater Breakfast Fellowship

13th March 2021     9.00am on Zoom
Modern slavery:hidden in plain sight
in our communities

It is estimated that there are more than 40 million people around the world trapped in some form of modern slavery – more people than during the peak of the historic slave trade. However, this isn’t an issue that only affects people in other countries, or just in larger cities. It happens right here in Gloucestershire.
At our breakfast fellowship meeting we will be hearing from Becca Faal from the diocesan safeguarding team about this important issue, and what we can do to play our part in safeguarding victims and combat modern slavery.
So make that bacon butty, pour a cup of coffee/tea and join us on Zoom to share fellowship and learn about this important topic.
